Southern Oregon is a rapidly growing wine region known for its diverse climate and ability to produce a wide range of varietals, from bold Tempranillos and Syrahs to crisp Pinot Gris and Viogniers. The region, which includes the Rogue Valley, Applegate Valley, Umpqua Valley, and Illinois Valley, has gained national recognition, with several wineries earning prestigious awards.


Notably, Troon Vineyard has received biodynamic certifications and accolades for its natural wines, while Del Rio Vineyards and Weisinger Family Winery have won gold medals at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
